Following the deadly outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, the world has reached a point that wearing a face mask and following Covid-19 protocols are key to contain Covid-19
From the medical masks to masks made of fabrics to N95 various masks were being used globally to be safe from getting infected with the pandemic. The researchers have designed a new face mask now.
The scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States have designed a new mask that makes the Covid-19 causing SARS-CoV-2 virus inactive as well as filtering out the virus.
It is believed that the new mask which comes with heated copper mesh need not be thrown away after use as it's reusable. The mask uses the heat to filter out the virus strain.
The special mask was designed in a way that, when the person who wears the mask takes a breath the airflow passes through the copper mesh which inactive any sort of viral particles.
However, this is just a prototype of the new mask, and the proper and comprehensive testing of the mask will kick start very soon, upon which the mask will be released in the market.
