Ticket War In Ruling Party Intensifies

     As the election notification will be issued within a week or two, TDP Leaders have been resorting to public display of strength to attain tickets and anguish to overpower the competitors. Group Wars in the Ruling Party were exposed even before the announcement of the tickets.


MP Thota Narasimham's Family Members met CM Chandrababu Naidu to seek Jaggampeta Ticket. Narasimha has already conveyed he can't contest in Lok Sabha Polls citing health issues. He sought Jaggampeta Ticket for his Wife citing victory in two elections and strong followers base. Whereas, YCP MLA from Jaggampeta Jyothula Nehru has been continuing in TDP. Thota Narasimham might join YCP if TDP denies preferred ticket. So, This segment has become a headache for the party.


Kuvvuru TDP was divided into two groups over allotment of ticket for Minister Jawahar. A huge rally was conducted in Kovvuru against the Minister few days ago. To counter it, Jawahar's Camp conducted 100 car rally till Amaravati seeking ticket.


Local TDP Leaders oppose ticket for Siting MLA Sravan Kumar in Thatikonda. A clash happened in Venkatapalem between Pro-Sravan Kumar Camp and Anti-Sravan Kumar Camp.


Former MLA Palakonda Rayudu sought Rayochoti MLA Ticket for his Son instead of TTD Member Post. There could be a revolt if ticket was denied.
