Following the fierce standoff at the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh with Chinese troops which resulted in 20 Indian soldiers martyred, the Indian government banned 59 Chinese Apps.

With this, TikTok CEO Kevin Mayer wrote a letter to Indian employees and assured that the company guarantees for their job security and even termed the employees as the biggest strength of the company

The Ceo posted the post in the ByteDance website, a Chinese multinational internet named as "A message to our employees in India". In the post, the CEO remembered the hard work they did to gain more than 200 million users in India alone.

"Our employees are our biggest strength, and their well-being is our topmost priority. We have also assured more than 2,000 strong workforce that we will do everything in our power to restore the positive experiences and opportunities that they can be proud of," TikTok CEO said.

The other day, PM Modi announced the move to ban 59 Chinese Apps as a befitting reply to Dragon Country China for its unlawful acts at the Indo-China border. This move is part of the "Atma Nirbhar Bharat" campaign.
