Tekkali MLA, former Minister Atchannaidu is one of the senior leaders and key leaders of the opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He is a close aide of TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu too.
Being one of the key leaders of TDP, Atchannaidu made it to the headlines recently with his comments against the party and leadership skills of former Minister Nara Lokesh, who is expected to lead TDP in the coming future.
In a short video, Atchannaidu can be heard as saying there would be no future for the party and it would be proved after the 17th of this month. Tirupati by-elections will be held on April 17.

On the other hand, a section of TDP sympathisers also believes what Atchannaidu said in the video. TDP is now battling one of the worst crises since its inception. Despite having a sound cadre, TDP failed to leave a mark in the recently held polls.
