The Indian business tycoons are adding wealth to a point that they are giving tough competition to the richest persons in Asia and the world too.
Gujarat-based Business Tycoon Gautam Adani needs a special mention here. His wealth increased massively in the past five years and the Covid emergence helped him a lot. Gautam Adani is now the second richest person in the world and his wealth rose by over 1,000 percent in the past five years.
Indian wealth management firm IIFL Wealth headquartered in Mumbai prepared a list of the richest people in India in 2022 and Gautam Adani topped the list. It is no wonder that the Gujarat business magnet is in the top position on the list.
The report said that Gautam Adani's wealth rose by 116 percent in just one year. Gautam Adani not only emerged as the second richest person in the world but he also has a record of setting up seven companies that have a market value of over one lakh crores. He is the only Indian to do so.
Even the experts are shocked knowing the fact that, no issues are able to put speed breakers to Indian business magnets in adding wealth. Forget about small obstacles, the business magnets are not stopping even with the Russia-Ukraine war too.
The list said that Mukesh Ambani is in the second position with a wealth of Rs 7.95 lakh crores. The rich in the country increased to a point where more than 1100 people joined the list of rich people who had a worth of more than 1,000 crores. The number of rich people increased by over 60 percent.
