US: Biden Administration announces free Covid tests!

With the novel Coronavirus hitting the United States very hard for one time, everything came to a standstill and the infections and hospitalisations are going up gradually. The hospitalisations among the children are also increasing prompting the concerned authorities to take up precautionary measures.
The national public health agency of the United States, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acted promptly and issued new changes in the mask-wearing and the Covid detection tests.
Saying that the Covid tests are free and the public need not pay any money for the rapid tests and the free tests will be made available for the public starting from Wednesday, the health agency had urged the public to use the facility and take up the tests. However, the rapid tests come with a waiting period of as many as 12 days.
Talking about the safety measures taken by the Joe Biden administration to curb the infections and stop the further spread of the virus, people were asked to reduce the travel even though they have received the full vaccination.
Stressing how the Omicron variant is infecting people no matter if they were vaccinated or not, the administration had appealed to the countrymen to avoid any unwanted travel.
Not just that, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also became liberal with the usage of facemasks to be safe from the virus and said that the country can wear either N95 or KN95 masks given the safety that came with the facemasks.
When everything seemed perfect and the situation hinted at coming under control, the Omicron variant had spread its wings and the infections continued to increase that too in big numbers. The situations that prevailed in the first two waves are being repeated. The authorities are in action and are monitoring the situation with a detailed eye.
