In December, the US registered an unemployment rate of 6.7 percent. A total of 140,000 jobs were lost in the nation and the employees who turned unemployed in December are lady employees.

In total, not less than 5.4 million women lost their jobs since February, while 2.1 million women who lost their jobs are not in search of employment opportunities.
