US To Get Corona Vaccine By Next Year

Corona vaccine may soon be available and with this, the fight against the deadly virus will enter a decisive phase. Sources said that the US has entered into a deal with childcare major Johnson and Johnson . The total worth of this deal is said to be around Rs 3439 crore.
A deal has been signed by the Biomedical and Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) of the US government and the Johnson and Johnson. As part of this, the J and J would supply 100 crore doses of Covid 19 vius to the US government and the US government would provide Rs 3500 crore for developing the vaccine. The total value of the vaccine project has now touched 1 billion US dollars. The Johnson and Johnson would begin clinical trials on humans from September this year and would hand over the designated amount of vials of the vaccine by next year.
The Johnson and Johnson representatives have said that the lead candidate vaccine developed and being evaluated by it is showing encouraging results.
