Warangal rural and urban to be called Warangal and Hanamkonda districts respectively

Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, aka KCR who is on Warangal tour announced the change of names of two districts in the state.The TRS boss said, Warangal Urban district would be called Hanmakonda district from now on and Warangal rural district would be called Warangal district.
Warangal and Hanmakonda will be two different districts.The official orders to change the name of Warangal Urban would be issued in a couple of days, the Chief Minister said on Monday.
The Chief Minister reached Warangal earlier today to inaugurate the newly constructed Health University building.KCR assured that seperate collectorates would be built in Warangal and Hanmakonda respectively.A new Veterinary college will be sanctioned for Warangal. Warangal will compete with Hyderabad in terms of development.
