Bifurcation of United AP destroyed the Congress Party in AP to an extent that it failed to win even single seat in 2014 Elections. The poll prospects of the national party hasn't improved even after 5 years inspite of Rahul Gandhi assuring Special Category Status.
Congress Leaders assumed alliance with TDP for AP Elections will fetch them few MLA and MP Seats. Chandrababu Naidu hasn't even dared to hold alliance talks after the shocking result in Telangana Assembly Polls. This is why many Congress Leaders jumped into TDP and YSR Congress in the recent past.
As the battle is between TDP, YCP and JSP, There wasn't much focus on Congress prior to the elections. People hasn't even paid attention to the speculation of TDP favouring Raghuveera Reddy in Kalyana Durgam Constituency. If AP PCC Chief faces defeat again, He mayn't continue in the Congress Party for longer.
Surprisingly, Neither Raghuveera Reddy nor any of the AP Congress Leaders are participating in debates or discussions or press meets or media interactions post the elections. They aren't taking sides as of now and that indicates there is every possibility of shifting loyalties to either TDP or YCP after May 23rd.
