Are the worst fears of Bhuma family scion and former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya coming true? Has the Telugu Desam Party top leadership decided not to give her Nandyal or Allagadda ticket to her for the 2024 elections? Sources close to her say that by not clearing her candidature, Chandrababu has sent clear signals that he is looking for an alternative for both Nandyal and Allagadda.

Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu has been holding meetings with key leaders these days and is confirming tickets to some of them. He has already confirmed tickets to senior leaders Mandali Buddhaprasad (from Avanigadda), Bode Prasad (Penamaluru), Narayana Reddy (Markapuram) and Vijayakumar (Santhanuthalapadu).

On Thursday, Chandrababu met with the constituency incharges from Nandikotkur, Mydukur, Rajampet, Allagadda and Punganur. He had given indications that Putta Sudhakar Yadav of Mydukur and Challa Ramachandra Reddy of Punganur would be declared the candidates.  But, no such clear message was sent when it came to Akhila Priya.  Sources say that Chandrababu is looking for a 'better' candidate for Nandyal and Allagadda.

Sources say that a strong section of Bhuma clan have been telling her that she may not be given the party ticket in 2024. But, Akhila Priya felt that Chandrababu would not ignore her claim. However, with Chandrababu not deciding on her candidature, Bhuma Akhila Priya is said to be having second thoughts. Though she maintains cordial relations with YS Jagan, she may be unwelcome in the YSRCP. The BJP already has her brother working hard in the same constituency.
