Where is P Muralidhar Rao?

What is BJP's national secretary and Telugu-origin politician Muralidhar Rao doing these days? On the face of it, he is one of the general secretaries of the party. But, he is not part of any core team in the party. He is never seen the national level core group meetings on any issue. He has not met Modi in many days.
An interesting fact that is emerging is that he is incharge of Karnataka, but no one in the state seems to be giving him any importance. Recently when he was in Karnataka on January 26, the state president came, hoisted the national flag and went away. He did not even bother to call on Muralidhar Rao, who was very much present in the office. Throughout the day, he was whiling away his time in the state office, but no one really bothered even to greet him. Another interesting news is that he is studiously avoiding PM Narendra Modi. He is going to Bengaluru only afte MOdi leaves the place.
Another shocking nugget of information is that he has no PA for himself for the last six months. He has no PA in Delhi and Hyderabad. One of his Pas is now the PS of Union Home Minister of State Kishan Reddy.
