Mukesh Ambani is one of the richest persons in India and for this reason, even a minute detail about the wealthy person gets everyone's attention. Earlier this year Ambani's house was in the news after a treat was reportedly made. The issue reached a point where a big cop was replaced due to alleged negligence in rending services.
Yet again a similar incident happened involving Mukesh Ambani earlier today. The concerned cops swung into action and registered a case. As a big breakthrough, a person was arrested in connection with the case. The accused is arrested on the grounds of reportedly issuing threats to Mukesh Ambani and his family members.
Going into detail, the Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai received multiple calls from a person called Afzal who is said to be the accused. After the calls, the staff at the hospital informed the cops about this and they looked into the matter. Based on the phone number, the accused was traced and he was taken into custody.
The investigation officers are probing the matter and the accused is being grilled by the cops. More information is awaited in this regard. Once the cops get some information on why the accused made these calls they might make an announcement.
Though nothing is confirmed yet, media reports say that the accused might be having some mental issues and with that, he might have made threatening calls to Mukesh Ambani and his family members. We would get clarity on this after the cops make any announcement.
Talking about the previous issue, an abandoned car was spotted at Ambani's iconic Antilia house earlier this year. When a few cops inspected the car they found explosives in it. After probing deeper into the row, the Maharashtra government removed a few cops holding them responsible for showing negligence.
After the Antilia residence scare, the Ambani family has been provided with a security cover by the union government. Coming back to the new issue the threatening calls were made to Mukesh Ambani on the eve of Independence Day. When the family was celebrating the landmark 75th Independence Day, threats were made.
