Why Block Video Footage Of Demolition?
X
The TRS Government, it appears, is hell-bent on ensuring that there is no video footage of the demolition of the old secretariat in Hyderabad. In view of the negative sentiment in the state, the government feels that any footage of the demolition could be used to whip up passions among the people. So, the Government is taking every step to prevent the leakage of the footage.

As a result, there are traffic restrictions around the demolition site so that no footage can be recorded by anyone. Even the labourers working at the demolition site are being asked to deposit their mobile phones before entering the arena. The whole demolition drive is being personally monitored by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and DGP Mahinder Reddy. On Thursday, two constables were found recording the demolition. They were immediately attached to the DGP's office. Why such utmost secrecy and why the people are being prevented from recording the demolition? Well, there is no plausible explanation for this.

Meanwhile, sources reveal that the demolition of the G block, C block, Rock Stone and D Block has been completed and the demolition of the A and B block is on. There is no clarity about the demolition of K, L, J, North H and South H Blocks in the secretariat complex.
