Why Chandrababu greeted Advani this year?

Our dear Chandrababu Naidu has taken all pains to greet BJP patriarch LK Advani on his 92nd birthday. Chandrababu Naidu called up Advani and spoke to him on the occasion. There is nothing wrong in Chandrababu Naidu greeting Advani on latter's birthday. The only point is that the very same Chandrababu Naidu did not have time to greet Advani last year.
Why did Chandrababu suddenly remember Advani? Simple. He is now moving heaven and earth to mollify the BJP and is trying to get back into the good books of Modi-Shah combine. After the humiliating debacle in the 2019 elections, Chandrababu has nowhere to go. The Congress is weak and most of the regional parties are down in the dumps. Post his defeat at the hustings, no one is even bothered to call him up. He is not even getting an invite to the meeting of the Opposition parties. Meanwhile, a strong and powerful YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is getting stronger and stronger by each passing day. Now, he has no one except the BJP to go to. Hence, Babu has dutifully greeted Advani this year.
But, the BJP today is not the BJP of Vajpayee. Today it is stronger and sharper. It has killer instinct and does not need to pally up with the TDP. So, Chandrababu Naidu is now desperate to get into the good books of the BJP.
