The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) which is not leaving any stone unturned to get the political mileage in the state had targeted the ruling YSRCP on the three capitals issue and asked will the state's financial status permits the government to build three capitals for the state. To breathe fire on the state government, the BJP called for a press meet.

Leading the attack from the front, Andhra Pradesh BJP chief Somu Veerraju held a press meet at the party office in temple city Vijayawada and asked why the government had repealed the three capitals bill. It is an attempt from the government to escape the court.

The state BJP chief asked why the government is thinking about having three capitals for the state when the financial status of the state is unable to pay the salaries for the employees and pensions for the beneficiaries. He also found fault with the CM changing his stand on Amaravati as the capital region.

When he was in the opposition, Jagan said he was supporting the Amaravati region as the capital. But he changed his stand after he came to power. What made him change his stand. After he became the Chief Minister, he wanted to go for three capitals, why this change he asked.

He also accused CM Jagan of giving a speech filled with lies while addressing the house on the repeal of the bill. Somu Veerraju opined that the members are using vulgar and foul language in the Assembly. Rather than discussing public issues, the leaders are involved in personal attacks, he said.
