Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy once again made it to the headlines with his bold and aggressive approach towards the irrigation projects in Telangana.
CM Jagan's bold move came after Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, aka KCR, came down severely on AP government on the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme and termed the allegations made by AP are baseless.
CM Jagan took a step ahead and wrote a letter to Union minister for Jal Sakthi Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and asked why the Centre is shooting issues for Andhra Projects only.
Reciprocating the remarks made by Apex Council, CM Jagan said seeking permission is compulsory only for the new projects and termed Rayalaseema lift irrigation project as a supplementary scheme
CM Jagan expressed his shock over the apex council not uttering a single word against the Palamuru Ranga Reddy and Dindi lift irrigation that were constructed on Krishna Rover by the TS government.
However, TS Opposition raised doubts that Chief Ministers both the Telugu States who share a good rapport locking horns is nothing but an act to divert the issue.
