Why Lokesh, Brahmani Hosted Lunch For TDP Young Guns?

Has Chandrababu Naidu realised that his son Lokesh cannot be projected as a popular leader and that he should be seen as a brackgrounder â someone working behind the scene and strategising rather than a public orator and popular leader? Or is it a ploy on Chandrababu's part to rally all the young and upcoming leaders of the party around Lokesh Babu? Is he trying to plan a generational shift in the party by slowly easing out the old guard?
On Sunday, instead of being having his feet on the ground campaigning against the shifting of capital from Amaravati like his father, Lokesh held a closed meeting with some young leaders of the party at Chandrababu's Hyderabad residence. To add glitz and pep to the programme, not just Lokesh, but his charismatic wife Brahmani too played the host. They discussed with the young leaders and activists about the party's strategy and on how to counter the YSRCP. It was a luncheon meeting with both Lokesh and Brahmani interacting with every invitee. This is a first-of-its kind meeting where young leaders and Lokesh-Brahmani came face to face and discussed several issues threadbare.
Among those who attended were Mathukumilli Tejaswini, MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and others. Interestingly, not just the leaders, but their family members too were invited to the lunch.
