Ever since the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) was reopened under the Unlock 3.0 that was shut with the imposement of lockout as many as 743 infections were detected at the holy shrine.

Priests, outsourcing workers, regular workers, and even the special protection force (SPF) personnel at the temple too contacted the respiratory disease raiding many fears.

What's even more shocking is that despite more than 740 people at the shrine testing positive for the contagious disease, TTD is not making moves to restrict the pilgrims from entering the temple.

The cases in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) saw a massive growth between July and August. As of the 10th of July, TTD has reported only 91 infections and within one-month things went upside down.

As per the details, so far around 9,000 people at the holy shrine undergone for the pandemic tests, and 743 people were declared positive for the disease. Out of the,743 infections, 402 people managed to recover from the dreaded virus.

Rubbishing all the rumours, TTD EO Anil Singhal said that they are not allowing the devotees, not for the money, and said no devotees contacted the dreaded virus so far.
