Why did seniors skip this Congress programme?

Is everything okay in the Nizamabad Congress party? Why did the two party stalwarts skip the felicitation of newly-appointed TPCC functionaries? What's cooking at the party in this all-important district?
Recently, the Nizamabad District Congress Committee has organized a massive felicitation programme for newly-appointed working president Mahesh Kumar Goud and campaign committee chief and former MP Madhu Yashki Goud. It was a big affair with leaders from all parts of the district attending it. But, two senior leaders were conspicuous by their absence. They were Mohammad Shabbir Ali and former minister Sudarshan Reddy.
Mahesh Goud did not bother to meet both the leaders and seek their blessings. Both the leaders too ignored the meeting and stayed away. There are also allegations that there were phone calls to several leaders asking them to stay away from the meeting. Mahesh Goud projecting himself as the MLA candidate from Bodhan is being resented by Sudarshan Reddy, who is from Bodhan. Interestingly, both Shabbir Ali and Sudharshan Reddy hoped that they would be made working presidents of the party. However, the high command has ignored their candidature and has put together a young team.
Both Shabbir Ali and Sudarshan Reddy have played a key role in Congress politics in Nizamabad. Both were ministers in the Congress government from 2004-2014. Shabbir Ali is the most well-known minority face in the Telangana Congress Party.
