Why is Asaduddin Owaisi silent over Markaz Incident?

Where is Asaduddin Owaisi? At a time when there is significant disobedience among those who attended the Markaz meeting and utter lack of cooperation with the medical staff and the authorities, a leader of his stature should be out on the streets convincing the patients to undergo Corona tests But, he is keeping utterly silent. He has not been seen on the roads like other MPs and MLAs of Telangana, have already began outreach efforts. But, Owaisi has done precious little to convince his own people.
No statement has come from him asking the Muslims to join the Corona control efforts. The fact is had there been no Markaz incident, the number of Corona cases in the country could have been very low and the death toll lower still. Though it is crystal clear that Markaz incident and fundamentalist attitude among the Muslims was responsible for the latest spike in the numbers, he has not spoken. Instead of helping the Government, the MIM is actually coming out in blatant and shameless support of the Corona affected. In Nizamabad, the MIM workers had pelted stones on the medical staff. Even on this incident, Asaduddin Owaisi is dead silent
If leaders like Owaisi, who hold sway over his community, keep silent and do not cooperate with the Government, it will go down as a black mark on the community and also his leadership. It is time he speaks up and acts like the real leader of the community, whose welfare he talks about day in and day out.
