Why is Roja visiting temple after temple?

Actress-turned-politician-turned-minister RK Roja is on a temple-hopping spree these days. The latest is that she visited the Vizag Sharada Peetham ashram of Swami Swaroopananda on Sunday and offered special prayers. She has participated in the Rajashyamala Yagnam at the Peetham. She also obtained the blessings of the seer, who is considered politically quite influential.
After she became a minister, Roja has been offering prayers at some important temple or the other. While she was just an MLA, she spent more time in TV Shows such as Jabardast. After she became a minister, she left these shows and is focusing more on the political and departmental issues. The firebrand leader is also the minister for tourism and youth services.
Earlier, she used to visit Tirupati when she visited her constituency of Nagari. Rest of the time, she used to spend in Hyderabad doing TV shows. But, she is visiting various temples these days. Sources close to her say that she is discussing with the officials on how to develop tourism facilities and amenities in the pilgrimage centres of the state .
Interestingly, Roja said that there is a lot of negativity in both the film industry as well as politics. She said regular visits to the temples will help in dispelling negativity. She further said that places of worship pulsate with positive vibrations and the devout draw great solace by visiting the temples and places of pilgrimage.
