Will Kaushik Reddy emerge as counterweight to Etela?

Kaushik Reddy, till recently relatively unknown across Telangana, is vrooming on the political fast lane these days. He is being seen as the answer to Etela Rajender in Huzurabad. Kaushik Reddy is the person who unravelled the shady land dealings of Etela Rajender.
Kaushik Reddy is the first politician to expose the fact that Etela's name was mentioned as Etela Rajender Reddy in the land registration papers of Etela's son Nitin Reddy. It is Kaushik Reddy who has weaponised Etela's action against himself.
As a result, the ruling TRS is planning to bring Kaushik Reddy into the TRS and project him as an answer to Etela. Though the names of leaders like MP Vinod and Rajya Sabha MP Lakshmikantha Rao are being heard, sources said that Kaushik Reddy is the front runner. Sources say that BJP's Inugala Peddi Reddy too might switch over to the TRS and try to take on Etela. But, highly placed sources say, Kaushik Reddy is the hot favourite for the TRS top boss. Sources say that efforts would be made to build an image for him and then he would be made a member of the TRS. In the event of a byepoll, Reddy would be focused as a counter weight to Etela.
