Will T-BJP Let Controversial Comic Perform in Hyderabad?

T. Raja Singh is an MLA from Telangana who represents the Bharatiya Janata Party. He needs no introduction as he always stays in news with his controversial statements. Recently, the Goshamahal Assembly legislators stunned everyone by saying that he might get killed as he is raising his voice for Hindus and he is opposing Love Jihad.

Going by his nature, the T-BJP MLA once again made stunning comments. Reacting to the news of a controversial stand-up comedian coming to Hyderabad for a show, Raja Singh said that if the event organisers hosts the show then the theater would be set on fire.

It is said that controversial stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, who was earlier booked and arrested for reportedly making insulting jokes on Hindu deities is gearing up to perform in Hyderabad as part of his tour. If everything goes as per plan, he might come to Hyderabad this month to do a show.

Without any doubt, this did not go well with the BJP and the firebrand leader issued a big threat that the theatre would be set on fire if the comedian conducts a show. His comments had sent shocking waves all over.

Now it has to be seen if the Bharatiya Janata Party will allow the controversial stand-up comedian to perform in Hyderabad or not. Though BJP is not in power in the state, it is in a good position and the cadre is very active. So the comedian might face a big issue here.

This is not the first time BJP made a big noise about the stand-up comedian. Earlier when the TRS invited Munawar Faruqui for a show, the Telangana wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party launched an attack against IT Minister KTR for making the invitation.

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and another person Nalin Yadav were arrested earlier last year on the complaint of reportedly hurting the sentiments of Hindu gods. Not happy with the commnets he made against Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, a few complaints were registered against him and he was arrested. He had to wage a big fight to get bail. His shows in many BJP-ruled states were canceled later.
