With Just Move, KCR Puts Congress On The Backfoot

Telangana CM KCR has shown that he is a past-master in the art of playing mind games. He has played a massive mind game and exposed that the Maha Kutami of the Congress â an alliance comprising Congress, TDP, CPI, Inti Party and Telangana Jana Samithi - is so very fragile and can be easily broken. He has also proved that he can tear down the facade of unity that the Congress puts up.
In one smart move, he sent senior leaders KK and Vinod to the CPI state office a couple of days ago. They met CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy and sought his support in the Huzurnagar bypolls. This was enough for the CPI to fall for the bait. The party is now all set to support the TRS candidate in the bypolls. Inti Party and CPM have put up their own candidates, while the TDP, which did not contest in the Lok Sabha elections, suddenly changed its mind and decided to contest the election. Political pundits say that it is not difficult to guess who is behind all these moves. These moves ensured that the Congress is all alone in Huzurnagar bypoll. This is a huge psychological shock to the Congress.
Though it is on a strong wicket, the party is now looking confused. It is now running around the CPI seeking its support. On the other hand, it is busy keeping at least Kodandaram's Telangana Jana Samithi in the Maha Kutami. Thus, the Congress is made to run in circles, while the TRS is intensifying its campaign in Huzurnagar.
