Wrong time for taking up Gadapa Gadapaku YSRCP?
X
Has the YSRCP leadership chosen the wrong time to reach out to the people? Should it have done some homework before actually going to the people? The party leaders are now baffled by the negative sentiment pervading the rural interiors of Andhra Pradesh. The people are taking the YSRCP leaders to task over the poor economy, unemployment and even infrastructure.

Oppressive heat of May summer, lack of power supply, recently hiked power tariff and the rising prices have ensured that the YSRCP leaders will have a tough time when they meet the people as part of the Gadapa Gadapaku YSRCP programme. The people are now asking them about the bad condition of the roads and the lack of infrastructure.

Even those who got pensions and other welfare schemes are unhappy over the delayed payments. They are asking as to why the pensions were being delayed. In most of the places, the people are mobbing the leaders and are raising tough questions. The videos of such incident are flooding the social media, which is making them go viral.

Many YSRCP leaders are of the opinion that the programme should have been organised during the rainy season. The power woes would have diminished by then, they feel. Or the government should have addressed at least some of the major problems. This would have helped the YSRCP cadre to face the voters. Now, with mounting problems, the party workers are facing tough times.
