X-Factor RP Replaces Injured Dhawan

When the Selectors announced India's 15-member World Cup squad, Denying place for Wicket Keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been debated a lot. Many Ex-Cricketers opined this Youngster is a match-winner and the X-Factor he have could be an advantage for Team India. Even Cricket Lovers who admire Pant's attacking play were left disappointed as Selectors preferred Dinesh Karthik over him due to wicket keeping skills.
The injury suffered by Shikhar Dhawan in the match against Australia came as blessing in disguise for Rishabh Pant. BCCI choose Rishabh Pant as the replacement and he was asked to join the Team in England as early as possible.

India will be playing against New Zealand on June 13th and Pakistan on June 16th. If Rishabh Pant gets into the Team, KL Rahul will open the Innings alongside Rohit Sharma. When Pant will be available for selection in the Playing XI is going to be the key as BCCI has to complete paper work because he isn't part of the initial 15-member squad.
Ishant Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel and Navdeep Saini are other players in the stand-by mode. May be, Rayudu could be playing the match against New Zealand and Pant will replace him for Pakistan match.
