The comments made by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the past had sent shocking waves across Andhra Pradesh as she alleged that her government got a proposal from the previous government led by Chandrababu Naidu on the Pegasus spyware. The ruling YSRCP alleged that TDP might have used the same in power.

As former Minister Narayana was arrested and released on a bail recently,  state minister for energy and forests Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy's comments on tapping Narayana's phone gave birth to an intense attack from the opposition party.

The Telugu Desam Party leaders started asking did YSRCP use the same Pegasus spyware to tap Narayana's phone as the Minister said that key pieces of evidence were found after tapping his phone. His comments became a big issue and gave a  weapon to TDP to attack YSRCP.

Learning from the mistake, the Minister had corrected his mistakes and said that Narayana's phone was not tapped and it was tracked. He alleged that his words were misinterpreted and due to this, the whole issue popped up.

The surprising element here is that the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Minister tried to brush the mistake on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu saying that CBN should talk according to his age and such a person making such kind of comment is not good.
