YSRCP which is in power in Andhra Pradesh is mourning the death of a woman party leader who breathed her last due to heart attack. She held various posts at different levels and extended her services to the party. Her sudden loss created a void in the party.

YCP leader Mohammed Karimunnisa, an MLC passed away after she suffered a heart attack. After she complained of discomfort, she was taken to the hospital by her family members. At the medical facility, she breathed her last.

Taking her services to the party into consideration, the Andhra Pradesh government had sent her into the house as an MLC under the MLA quota. Earlier, she served as the Corporator of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation.

She had attended the Assembly sessions on Friday. All of a sudden, she felt uneasy and was taken to the hospital. She breathed her last at the hospital facility.

Having started her political career with the Congress, Mohammed Karimunnisa was drawn towards the YSRCP congress and joined the Party. She actively participated in the party activities since the inception. As a token of appreciation for her work towards the party, she was nominated as the MLC under the minority category.
