Amaravati Remains As AP Capital: YCP Clarifies

Speculations were abuzz that YSR Congress would shift the AP Capital to either Donakonda or Ongole or Rayalaseema if it forms the Government. Putting an end to all the baseless theories, YCP has decided to offer an assurance in the party manifesto that Amaravati remains as the capital of Andhra Pradesh even after the formation of next government.
YCP Leadership sent an indication that building a World-class Capital and implementation of promises made by YS Jaganmohan Reddy is high on the agenda. YCP State-wide Manifesto will be not more than 2-4 Pages. Don't be surprised if Jagan comes up with separate Manifesto for each Constituency before the 2019 Elections.
On the other hand, YS Jaganmohan Reddy shifted to the permanent Office-cum-Residence in AP Capital region on Wednesday. YS Vijayamma, Sharmila, Brother Anil, YCP MLAs, MPs and MLCs were present for the house-warming ceremony.
In contrast, Chandrababu Naidu built permanent residence in Hyderabad and temporary structures in Amaravati.
