YS Jagan Not Ready To Meet Public?

Whenever a Chief Minister attends any meeting it is common that people will gather in big numbers and the Chief Minister will meet the people. Attending such events act as a good platform for the leader of the state to directly meet the people and understand the problems they are facing.

But the observers say the same is not the case with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They are even giving examples to back this claim. The recent Narsapur visit of Jagan started a new debate on whether Jagan is sacred for meeting the public.

It is known that Jagan went to the Narsapur constituency represented by rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju. He announced a few projects and lashed out at the opposition parties Telugu Desam Party and Janasena. The Chief Minister said the language used by the parties is objectionable.

Though he had time to attack the opposition, Jagan did not meet people there and observers are wondering what made the Chief Minister do so. Drawing a comparison with other chief ministers the observers are saying no Chief Minister might have done this and avoided the public.

YCP has a bumper majority in the Assembly house and despite all this Jagan did not meet the people who attended the meeting. Experts say that the anger people have towards the government might be the reason behind this. We have seen how the legislators had to face the wrath of the people as part of the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthvam. Even the Cabinet Ministers were also not spared.

Legislators facing heat from the public raised many eyeballs and Chief Minister also going through the same would become a big issue. To avoid this Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to have skipped meeting people during his Narsapur visit.

On top of this, the way the authorities reportedly behaved also raised many eyeballs. It is said that the shops near the place where Jagan toured were forcefully shut by the authorities. The shop owners were not informed prior. If we have to take anything from the reports, trees were also cut despite no need.
