YSRCP’s sitting MLA from Mangalagiri - Alla Ramakrishna Reddy - is proving that he is no mere pushover. He is giving a run for the money to Chandrababu's son and TDP heir apparent Nara Lokesh in the ensuing elections. His nomination rally was a huge success as thousands milled in. An enthused Reddy repeatedly flashed the fan symbol and spoke with gusto.
Nara Lokesh's entry has tuned Mangalagiri into a high profile election. Looking at the response, the YSRCP cadres are confident that Reddy would romp home comfortably and Lokesh may have to be busy licking his wounds.
Kandru Kamala, the former MLA from the weaver community, which is present in large numbers, was also present in the rally and asked the people to vote for Alla. The YSRCP candidate was at his rhetoric best when he said that Lokesh belonged to the pizza-burger batch and knows nothing about agriculture. He said Chandrababu appeared to have sent Lokesh to Mangalagiri as he wanted to get rid of him.
