The AP politics which has taken some interesting turn of events with many leaders changing their parties is allegedly ready to witness another political twist. It has been widely reported that former Minister and YSRCP MLA who represents the Venkatagiri constituency will join the BJP party.
Earlier he has made some interesting comments on his fellow party leaders which lead to many speculations that he is looking for other parties to join. If this happens and he joins the party, he might get a crucial role in the party.
Looking back at his political career, he held many kay branches in Rajasekhar Reddy's cabinet, later became a key figure in the cabinet of Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy. Anam emerged as a key person in the state during the regime of Congress party. He could not progress further post the bifurcation of the state. Following this, he joined the TDP party.
He could not continue in the TDP too with the issue he had with them Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy. He had issues with some local leaders too. He bid goodbye to the TDP and joined the YSRCP and won the MLA seat with a YSRCP ticket.
He aimed for a Minister post but quite contrast to his desire Jagan gave Minister seats to Anil Kumar Yadav and Mekapati Goutam Reddy.
Adding much discomfort to Anam is the party, many senior leaders have decided to probe an inquiry on the VRC Educational Institutions, Venu Gopala Swamy Degree College and the lands related to Venu Gopala Swamy temple. On top of that, the secretary post of VRC Educational Institutions was given to District Joint Collector which was formerly held by Anam's family members.
