Following the corruption investigation in the infamous Yes Bank crisis, Roshini Kapoor, daughter of Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor was stopped from boarding a flight to London at the Mumbai International airport.

Earlier the Enforcement Directorate(ED) has served the lookout notices against Roshini Kapoor and her family members. She is currently under the custody of the agency.



These orders were issued in anticipation that Kapoor's family may try to slip out of the country, just like the controversial Indian businessman Nirav Modi, a senior government official said.

Currently, the passports of the family members have not got canceled but there is a chance of it getting happened whenever the government gives a thought of it.

The ED had arrested Rana on Sunday on charges of money laundering, after carrying out searches at his and his daughter's houses in Delhi and Mumbai.

Going into details Rana Kapoor is facing charges that the Yes Bank founded by his has purchased the debentures of Dewan Housing and Finance Ltd worth Rs 3,700 which in turn granted a Rs 600 crore loan to the Doit company which is owned by daughters of Rana-Roshini Kapoor, Rakhee Kapoor Tandon, and Radha Kapoor.
