Film stars enjoy good popularity and craze among the masses. That's the reason why the stars try to do as many films as possible. Quite contrary to this, a young and happening hero announced that he will be bidding goodbye to movies and his upcoming film will mark his last film as an actor. This decision surprised one and all.

The hero who surprised everyone with his decision is Kollywood young hero Udhayanidhi Stalin, who hails from a politically influential family. In an interview, he announced the news and said that his forthcoming film Maamannan will be his last venture in the industry.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party which is led by his father Stalin is in power in Tamil Nadu. After the party came to power in the recent general polls, Udhayanidhi Stalin is believed to be assisting his Chief Minister father MK Stalin in various matters. As he is an MLA also, he has a basic idea of how things go in the government.

As he is expected to lead the party in the coming days as Stalin took over the party leadership from his father M. Karunanidhi, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhyanidhi Stalin had decided to take the tough decision of leaving films so that he can have complete focus on the politics alone.

Given the fact that it is a daily learning process in politics, the young hero had reportedly decided that he can't travel on two ships at once as he cannot dedicate time to both professions.

On the other hand, Udhyanidhi Stalin has the possibility of creating a history that no political family in the country has managed to do. His grandfather and father became the Chief Ministers of the state and if he gets into the fields now itself, he can learn many things from his father, Stalin who is currently serving as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Udhyanidhi Stalin who is dubbed as the future leader of DMK was given an MLA ticket in the polls and he proved himself by winning the maiden polls. He is the legislator from the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in the state.
