The central agency Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) is investigating the much-talked-about murder case of former Minister Y.S Vivekananda Reddy and crucial information is being dug by the agency at regular intervals. Earlier, the former driver of YS Viveka had reportedly turned approver and recorded his statements in connection with the case.

As a big twist in the assassination case, it has been widely reported that the CBI officials have arrested Devireddy Shiv Shankar Reddy, state secretary of ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh in connection with the case. He was reportedly taken to question him in the case.

Needless to say, Shiv Shankar Reddy's alleged arrest made the case undergo a sudden twist given the fact that Shankar Reddy is said to be a close associate of MP Avinash Reddy who is facing allegations of having connections with the case. It is said that he was arrested at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

After knowing that Shiv Shankar Reddy visited a private hospital for treatment, the CBI officials showed up at the hospital and arrested him to grill him to see if he had any role in the murder case. This is not the first time for Shankar Reddy to face the CBI grilling sessions in this case. Earlier too, he was questioned by the officials.

The New arrest gained a lot of significance as Viveka's ex-driver Dastagiri had reportedly mentioned Shiva Shankar Reddy in his statement, Now all eyes are on the CBI to know who will be on the CBI list to get arrested next. Earlier it was reported that Dastagiri said that Viveka was killed due to a financial statement.

Vivekananda Reddy's former driver even alleged that Yerra Gangireddy, Sunil Yadav, Gujjala Uma Shankar Reddy have murdered Viveka at his residence by hitting him with an axe and left the place after the attack.

YS Vivekananda Reddy was found murdered at his residence in Pulivendula in 2019, months before Andhra Pradesh went for general elections. His daughter Narreddy Sunitha found fault with the delay and moved the High Court seeking the handover of the investigation to CBI and the CBI came into the scene and started probing the sensational murder case.
