"Help Arun pay medical bills"

We are writing this on behalf of our family member Arun Vankar. He came to the US, to do his Masters in Information Technology at Atlantis University in Miami. He was very excited to have come to US and was even more hopeful that his dreams of a better career and better future would be fulfilled.
But unfortunately on the Morning of April 17th, he suffered a severe road accident. He was hit from behind by a Chevy Suburban Truck, while driving his scooter. It was a hit-and-run accident where the truck driver dragged his scooter for almost two city blocks. The truck driver was arrested and charges have been filed against him.
The Police Officers who responded to the accident later informed that Arun was very lucky that he was thrown to the side after the initial impact. However, he suffered severe injuries to the head and fractured his left arm. The Emergency Response Team airlifted him to the Kendall Regional Medical Center.
The Doctors diagnosed that he had severe brain trauma. They immediately started treating him and sent him to ICU. As his head injuries were critical, he was closely monitored in the ICU. He was in the ICU for more than a month, during which he developed multiple complications and numerous X-Rays, CT Scans and MRI tests were performed.
By God's grace he showed good progress and his condition improved over time. Once his condition stabilized, he was moved to the Intermediary Unit, where he is currently recovering.
Because of the nerve damage in the head, his vocal cords got affected for which he would have to undergo treatment for an additional 2-6 months.
At this point we are looking for your donations to help with his current situation because he does not have any medical insurance.

As he has been undergoing treatment in the Hospital for the past one and half month, we can't begin to imagine how high his hospital bill would be. So please kindly consider our request and donate and forward this to your friends.
We plan to use the funds for paying the Hospital bills and for continuing his treatment in India whenever he is discharged from the Hospital in Miami.
