By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Nov 2015 12:35 PM GMTTelangana American Telugu Association (TATA) Los Angeles, CA team organized a Meet & Greet with Telangana Government OSD ,Officer on Special duty Sri Deshapathi Sriniavas, Minister Sri Jupally Krishna Rao on Nov15th Sunday evening in Tandoori Restaurant in Orange County of Southern California.
The event began amidst much fanfare, ended with a thumping support and presence of a massive crowd from all over the Southern California.
Anil Arrabelli (TATA Joint secretary) welcomed the attendees and chief guests Sri Deshpathi Srinivas (OSD and cultural ambassador of Telangana Govt, Minister Sri Jupally Krishna Rao to the attendees and explained about the TATA activities happening in the California area. Express Gratitude to TATA Advisory chair Pailla Malla Reddy and TATA President Jhansi Reddy and TASC Advisory Srinivas Nakka.
The celebrations began by Master of Ceremony Ramesh Gattu by inviting the chief guests, community leaders.
Sri Deshapathi Srinivas and Sri Jupally Krishna Rao addressed the audience and explained of the rich culture and heritage of Telangana and importance of it in the history of forming the state. As the state is doing its best to preserver and promote, They stressed upon the need for NRIs to step forward to do their part.
Sri Deshapathi Srinivas explained the evolution of Telangana struggle and the great contributions of several leaders who sacrificed their lives for the formation Telangana. He also explained with examples how Telangana Telugu is rich in its form, expression and how it influenced other dialects.
Sri Deshapati Srinivas being a Telangana folk lyricist and very knowledgeable about state history, most of the narration was filled with poetic recitals to reference the life and history of the people, which made the evening live and energized. He answered many questions from audience how they can help the needy even in small steps which can bring big change.
The evening included a hilarious entertainment by famous mimicry artist Ramesh, sell-out speeches by Sri Jurally Krishna Rao followed by Sri Deshpathi Srinivas.
Goutham Goli (TATA Treasurer) expressed the TATA goals and objectives, need more and more events like this to promote Telangana culture and state developments.
Vishweshwar Reddy Kalevala TDF President graced the occasion and extended support to the event.
Harinder Tallapally TATA Regional Vice president thanked the high-profile guests, all the participants, sponsors, community organizations, and self-motivated volunteers for their support in making the event a formidable success.
The guests Sri Deshapathi Srinivas and Sri Jupally Krishna Rao were felicitated with traditional shawls, flower bouquets thanking for the services and the message.
