Ten days might appear as a small period in general. But It is very crucial and it can come in handy to create history and add new glory. We are talking about team India here. Yes, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is on the verge of making history if the ten days are utilized the best.

Men In Blue remained unbeaten in the group stage and won three matches. The fourth match was suspended. India was scheduled to play against Canada in its fourth outing. However, rain washed out the game.

India’s main challenge starts today. India is gearing up for the Super Eight test and is slated to play three matches in four days. Today India will face Afghanistan. The team cannot be taken lightly as it is looking balanced. Having played IPL, the players know more about Indian players.

On 22 India will play Bangladesh. The fellow subcontinent team is always dangerous and can give tough competition any day. As an example of this, Bangladesh is the only team that defeated India in the Asia Cup.

India’s nightmare Australia will face us on the 24th. Even if we pass the Afghanistan and Bangladesh teams, defeating the Aussies is not an easy task. It has to be mentioned here that Australia defeated us in two ICC events, the World Test Championship Final and the 2023 World Cup Final.

So the Indian team should give their best effort in the three matches. By 24 we would get clarity on who goes to the Semi Finals. If India breaks the Semis threat it can reach the Finals and win the trophy.

It's been a long time since India won the T20 World Cup. Under Dhoni’s leadership, India won the maiden T20 Cup in 2007. Since then India has been waiting for the trophy. The ongoing edition can be seen as the best chance to do this.

This could be the last time we would see captain Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli playing in an ICC tournament together. Rohit Sharma is 37 while Virat Kohli is 35. Due to his fitness, Virat might play in another event. But we would not see them together and lifting the trophy can be a perfect goodbye.
