Ever since the World Cup started we have been hearing shocking things from Pakistan. Be it the team’s coach or the skipper of the team they are making shocking comments. They are searching for reasons for their losses instead of accepting their mistakes and looking into what happened wrong.

As if that is not enough even the former players are making such shocking comments. Former Pakistan player Hasan Raza is on a spree of making shocking comments on various issues as far as the World Cup and the matches are concerned. This time he took everyone by surprise with his allegations.

The cricketing world is yet to forget the one of its kind of innings played by Glenn Maxwell against Afghanistan the other day. In a do-or-die match, Glenn Maxwell scored a double-century and became the only Australian player with a double ton and the only player with the highest score in World Cup history. Not just fans but even the cricket fraternity was in awe of his heroics.

However, Hasan Raza came up with a new observation and alleged that two different balls were used in the game and that’s why the Australian batting lineup lost wickets and Afghanistan bowlers could not get the breakthrough in the last overs.

He said that when Australia started its chase Afghanistan bowlers took quick wickets. Despite having a strong batting lineup they struggled. But the runs started to flow freely when the ball lost its shine and Glenn Maxwell scored runs easily he said.

He said that the Indian ball was used in the first 20 overs and it had swing. After 20 years, a normal ball was used which was hitting the pads and going into the slips, he maintained. "For the first 20 overs, it was the Indian ball, the ball hitting the pads, swinging, going to slips,” he said.
