Irfan Pathan Gives Strong Response To Pakistan Board!
Rather than focusing on the players who did not play well, the comments made by the board saying that audiences did not behave in the stadium, and Pakistan songs were not played are getting a wide range of criticism.
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Oct 2023 8:19 AM GMTOur neighbor Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of India as part of the ongoing World Cup. Ahmedabad became the venue of the match. Instead of accepting the defeat gracefully, the Pakistan Cricket Board is making unwanted comments. Former Indian player Irfan Pathan gave a befitting reply to the board. Rather than focusing on the players who did not play well, the comments made by the board saying that audiences did not behave in the stadium, and Pakistan songs were not played are getting a wide range of criticism.
Amid this, former pacer Irfan Pathan made a viral post on social media. While blasting the Pak Cricket Board for its behavior, he mentioned the old incident. As a piece of evidence, he shared some pictures as well. Saying that he traveled with the team that toured Pak in 2003-04, he said that he received a good welcome back then. Along with the welcome, sad incidents already happened. Irfan Pathan said that during a match, iron bolts and stones were pelted at him and once he sustained an injury near his eye and he complained to the empire.
He shared a photo and clip from the incident. I'm still saying it happens. There were many fans there and still, the incident happened. But we did not sit there crying and kept focus on how to win the next match. He gave a harsh reply to the post. After the defeat to India, the Pakistan Board complained to the ICC. But the ICC rubbished the arguments that the match was held as a BCCI event more than an ICC event. Pakistan Board is getting back-to-back shocks in this issue.
