After Australia India took revenge on England. India and England locked horns with each other the other day in the semis. Men In Blue crushed the English team and entered the finals. In 2022, England defeated us by ten wickets. Cut to 2024 we knocked England out of the league.
There was suspense on whether the match would be played or not due to the rain threat. A few times the play had to be stopped before a delay in the toss. No matter what, nothing could stop India from crushing the English team.
England won the toss and opted to bowl first to bank on the pitch conditions due to rain. Virat Kohli lost his wicket early and fans started to worry. But Rohit Sharma didn't let the English side get an advantage. He scored a half-century on a tough surface and gave a good start. Surya Kumar Yadav went close to 50 with some good shorts before getting out.
It was Hardik Pandya's short cameo that helped India get good runs in the death overs. After hitting two sixes he got out. In the end, Ravindra Jadeja made some valuable runs.

After the semis win Rohit Sharma became emotional. He was almost in tears. Virat Kohli and other team members tried to confront the skipper. India's performance changed largely from Adelaide to Guyana. At Guyana India is a happy team with eyes on the big Final.
Despite the Indian team showing its dominance, Virat Kohli's form is very concerning. He could not play any big knocks through the league. Even in the semis, he scored just 9 runs including a six. Talking about this, Rohit Sharma said that Virat Kohli is a quality player and he has been playing for 15 years. Form is not an issue for him. We know what he can do in the big matches. Maybe he is saving runs for the big match, Rohit Sharma said.
