Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for delivering big hits or disasters. His films never have been so-so grossers and his fans expect him to deliver many more hits that highlight his mass image.
Jai Simha, released for Sankranthi, which many thought is coming with an outdated concept team, became a hit for Balakrishna. So, producer C. Kalyan did a 100 days function for the film at Chilakaluripeta.
Balakrishna talked about the film and his father, NTR. He said, "This is my 11th 100 days film and I should thank K.S. Ravikumar and C. Kalyan for this film. I wanted the function to be conducted here as my father's, Gundamma Katha and Pothuluri Veera Brahamendra Swamy functions have been held here."
He further said, "I like to be known as my father's son as it is the person who really lives like his father is his true heir than just the one who follows him. My father used to say this and I believe him 100%. He is my inspiration in life and his words are like orders to me."
He then talked about NTR biopic and said that he wants to give a great tribute to his father and his legacy. He wants younger generation to know more about his father while all those who know his history will be reminded those great days.
K.S. Ravikumar said that after a decade he is attending a 100 days function and the culture should be alive. He wished to make many more movies with Balakrishna.
