Mahanayakudu Day 1 Can't Match RGV's Officer

'NTR Kathanayakudu' failed to draw crowds to the theatres inspite of releasing during Sankranthi 2019. Collections of 'NTR Mahanayakudu' are worse than Part 1 to say the least. Part 2 managed to collect just over Rs 1 crore share in the Telugu States on Day 1.
What's more shocking is the fact that Day 1 Gross of 'NTR Mahanayakudu' (Rs 1,60,641) wasn't even half to that of Ram Gopal Varma's disastrous flick 'Officer' (Rs 3,44,718) from an RTC Cross Roads Theater.
There is hardly any buzz for 'NTR Mahanayakudu' even after the release of new theatrical trailer. Many of the TDP Supporters haven't shown much interest to watch it on First Day itself due to lack of excitement on content. Public are of the impression that the biopic was made to use NTR image for 2019 Election. Glorifying the service done by Chandrababu Naidu to strengthen the organisation of Telugu Desam from the grassroots level and the camp politics run by him after the revolt of Nadendla Bhaskar Rao appeared to be the agenda of Makers for Part 2. This kind of presentation mayn't go down well with many people.
