Sukumar shot the First Schedule of 'Rangasthalam' in real locations. Upon shooting for few days, He realized how difficult it is to shoot in such an environment. That's when he decided to erect a village set in Hyderabad and even used VFX extensively for scenes to showcase the village nativity.
Makers released a VFX Video of 'Rangasthalam' recently. Two Shots in the footage has pleasantly surprised the viewers. While one of them happens to be the opening sequence where Ram Charan rides a bicycle at full pace, The other one was the combination scene of Cherry-Anasuya in a boat. Watching them makes everyone realize that they weren't shot in real locations but either in a set or studio.
These days, No biggie can be made without Visual Effects. That's how much Filmmakers are relying on the technology to create visual wonders. What's wrong if such advancements take the cinema to the next level.
