2 Reasons Why She Rejected Sivagami Role

'Baahubali: The Conclusion' movie has become most discussed topic in India right now. Usually hyped films can't meet the expectations of the audience fall flat at the box office. But two parts of 'Baahubali' exceeded the expectations and created history at the box office with earth shattering collections. At this juncture, an old topic became a point of discussion again i.e., Why did Sridevi reject Sivagami role ?
Sridevi was impressed with the script of 'Baahubali' and her character. Even her well wishers suggested her that Baahubali is going to be ideal re-entry for her to the films. But Sridevi has reportedly rejected Sivagami role for two reasons. One reason is..she was ready to appear as mother to teenage boy or a young hero who is in twenties..and doesn't want to appear as a mother to a middle aged hero like Prabhas. The second reason was her remuneration. 'Baahubali' producers were not ready to pay her the hefty remuneration she demanded.
We do not know whether these are the actual reasons.. but it has become a hot topic in Bollywood media. Whatever be the case, Sivagami role landed into the hands of talented Ramya Krishna and she has literally nailed it with her stellar performance.
