KA Paul announced Anchor Swetha Reddy as the First MLA Candidate of his Praja Shanti Party. She is all set to contest from Hindupur, which is the constituency represented by Nandamuri Balakrishna.
The Evangelist announced Laxmi Tulasi as the candidate of his party for Amalapuram Constituency. He accused Naidu and Jagan of conspiring to get rid of him. Still, There is no guarantee that Balakrishna would emerge victorious if he contests again from Hindupur. This is due to the various controversies in the past few years. Even Hindupur TDP Leaders weren't happy with the working style of the MLA. Authoritative approach of Balayya's PA resulted in group wars in the constituency. People often complained their MLA wasn't accessible to them. In addition, Slapping few party activists/fans in public damaged the Nandamuri Hero's reputation. All these factors mayn't make the victory of Balakrishna a cakewalk if he contests from Hindupur again.
