YSR Congress Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been focusing on allotment of tickets for 2019 Polls from now itself. He isn't only thinking about offering tickets to winning horses but also trying to destabilize TDP in constituencies which are known to its bastion.

As per buzz, YCP Leadership offered the responsibility of picking the right candidate to fight against Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hindupur to Rajampet MP Mithun Reddy. Balayya is likely to contest from Hindupur again. So, Jagan wishes to field a strong candidate against him on behalf of YCP.

In 2014 Polls, Naveen Nischal was the YCP Candidate of Hindupur Assembly segment. While Balayya received 81,543 votes, Naveen Nischal managed to get 65,347 votes. So, The margin of votes is just around 16,000.

Jagan believes a much stronger candidate could turn the result in favour of YSR Congress Party. He instructed Mithun Reddy to select a candidate from the dominant Valmiki Boya community.
