$15 Million Deal: Allu Arjun's Pushpa Shaking Up the Trade

Icon Star Allu Arjun's highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule is making waves in the film industry, particularly with its impressive deal in the USA. The latest reports indicate that the USA distribution rights are valued at a staggering $15 million, a record figure for a Telugu film. However, this deal has not yet been finalized, as it comes with a refundable clause.

Given the high breakeven point of $15 million, there are concerns about whether Pushpa 2 can generate enough revenue solely from its Telugu version. Because of the refund-clause, if the film fails to meet its breakeven point, the producers will have to return the amount to the buyer. However, there is optimism surrounding its Hindi version, which could significantly boost its performance in North America.
