Box Office: What’s Coming Up in 2025?

We are nearly done with the first quarter of 2025. So let us have a look at the kind of films that are in the offing for the remainder of the year. We have an interesting lineup of films, coming up for the rest of the year, and that have a look at them for now.

Pawan Kalyan returns in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a grand historical action drama where a legendary outlaw takes on the Mughal empire, releasing on May 9. Then, in the same month, we have Vijay Devarkonda, arriving with his upcoming film Kingdom, which is releasing on May 9.

Nagarjuna stars in Kubera, a spiritual-action thriller about a mysterious man with divine ties, hitting screens on June 20. On June 27, Kannappa brings the tale of a devoted tribal warrior who becomes a legend, with Prabhas making a powerful cameo appearance.

Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara, arriving July 18, is a rural mass entertainer blending tradition and action with his trademark energy.

Then we have a megastar Chiranjeevi stepping into the mystical world of Vishwambhara on July 24, a fantasy drama where cosmic forces and ancient secrets shape a destined hero.

We also have Hindi film as Jr NTR joins the spy universe in WAR 2, an intense global action thriller slated for August 14. Finally, Balakrishna will roar back in Akhanda 2 on September 25, embodying divine rage and spiritual power in a sequel packed with high-voltage action.

There is a fair bit of action left for the rest of 2025 with multiple notable films. In the lineup. We have to see how many of these will actually be able to impress the audience.
